For the seventh consecutive year, Moreton Hire collaborated with the USU – University of Sydney Union to bring their Welcome Week to life. This vibrant event, held on the Great Lawns of the University of Sydney, draws approximately 20,000 attendees over four days. This year’s Welcome Week had a unique twist, featuring individual hub areas to meet COVID-19 distancing requirements and QR code entry/exit protocols.
The project encompassed 25 different marquees, ranging from fully outfitted tents with custom signage and furniture to simple weather coverage for stage areas. Despite the challenges of rain, hail, and shine, our team successfully executed the event build. Our services included full electrical supply, printing, signage, lighting, flooring, walling, fencing, crowd control, furniture, and outdoor event flooring to protect the grass.
