Moreton Hire Delivers Bespoke Event Infrastructure for MULTINAIL Machinery Show 2025
In July 2025, Moreton Hire partnered with leading construction technology provider MULTINAIL to deliver a highly specialised event at their Stapylton facility in Queensland. The MULTINAIL Machinery Show – 2025 marked the official launch of “GlideAway,” a revolutionary, fully automated “one-touch” truss system. Though the event itself was a one-day affair held on Friday, 4th July, the complexity of the installation required a meticulous setup spanning over three months—from 14th April to 23rd July, including dismantle.
The event was designed not only to showcase the new Glide Away system to existing clients but also to welcome industry stakeholders for an immersive walkthrough and live demonstration. A key challenge was the need to construct a towering truss system within the venue, complete with an overwalk platform to provide optimal viewing access. This required precision planning and a robust infrastructure solution that could support both the height and safety requirements of the demonstration.
Moreton Hire delivered a comprehensive event solution tailored to the unique demands of the site and the client’s vision. Central to the setup was a 20m x 70m marquee, securely weighted with two anchor blocks per leg to ensure structural integrity. The marquee featured vinyl walls and a custom front gable adorned with branded signage. To enhance the guest experience, Moreton Hire installed green carpet tiles throughout the marquee, creating a polished and cohesive aesthetic. The event pathway was defined using Tensabarriers and chrome bollards, guiding attendees from the marquee to the outdoor function space, where food trucks and mobile bars added a festive touch. Lighting was upgraded from the initial 50W to 100W fixtures, ensuring optimal visibility and ambiance throughout the whole venue.
The success of the MULTINAIL Machinery Show – 2025 showcased Moreton Hire’s ability to manage complex, large-scale installations with precision and creativity.
