Moreton Hire was appointed by the Commonwealth Games Federation (CGF) and Gold Coast Commonwealth Games Corporation (GOLDOC) as the official Marquee and Temporary Structures supplier for the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games. Moreton Hire was contracted to provide additional venue space around the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Townsville, and Cairns to accommodate the additional 650,000 visitors to Australia. The Commonwealth Games was the largest event to come to Australia since the Sydney Olympics. Moreton Hire supplied and project-managed the full installation in just 8 months.

With hundreds of thousands of people attending the Games and even British Royalty attending, we were required to provide private, secured and outstanding spaces both internally and externally for this event. Our top-notch infrastructure included our newest German manufactured temporary structures and marquees, fully certified and safety-checked. Our structures sported custom signage with the façades and gables branded for the corporate sponsors to shine. The fit-out furniture completed the install, providing somewhere comfortable for the attendees to eat, drink and socialize.
