Gearing up for the first major expo since COVID-19 began

Next Monday, 20th July 2020, the team at Moreton Hire will commence installing the first major expo in Queensland since COVID-19 began. A positive light for Business Events and Tourism Industry of Queensland.

Since COVID19, virtually all Business Events scheduled for 2020, have been cancelled or postponed. Proving a challenge for the industry and extended tourism bodies. Gold Coast Expo will be hosted at the Gold Coast Turf Club and showcase the latest in camping, caravaning, 4x4s and boating across a large outdoor space.

Managing Director of Moreton Hire, Peter Morahan, said his team were looking forward to getting on site, and doing their bit for the organiser; Australian Events.

“It’s been a long few months for our company and the team,” Mr Morahan said. “To see a brightness of the future for events and expos, certainly puts a spring in our step. We’re extremely delighted to be involved with Australian Events, and obviously it’s great news for the Gold Coast and Queensland – our home state!”

Tourism and Events Queensland’s (TEQ) has recently launched a campaign to help drive tourism to the region “Queensland – you’re good to go!”
