In 2021 Moreton Hire joined the official Australian Department of Defence panel of suppliers, to help deliver Team Defence Australia’s international trade show stands over the next five years. The panel has been established by the Commonwealth to deliver all aspects of Team Defence Australia (TDA) pavilions at international trade events. Kicking things off in 2022, Moreton Hire has now delivered countless custom exhibition stands internationally over the last 3 years on this partnership, travelling to over 7 countries. Below outlines the extensive work the Moreton Hire International team has delivered and their many achievements along the way.

The Association of the United States Army’s Annual Meeting is the largest land power exposition and professional development forum in North America. With over 30,000 attendees, from over 80 countries, AUSA24 is one of three key communication platforms employed by the US Army. AUSA 2024 ran over three days, from Monday 14th to Wednesday 16th October, 2024 at Walter E. Washington Convention Centre in Washington DC, United States.
Once again Moreton Hire designed, delivered and project managed the Australian Pavilion this time at DSEI 2023 in Tokyo, Japan. The event took place in March 2023, with DSEI Japan being the only large-scale, fully integrated defence event to take place in Japan. This time over 40 Australian companies exhibited together at the Australian Pavilion. Moreton Hire had the privilege of supporting and promoting the Australian Defence industry and companies showcasing their innovation and latest cutting technology at the stand. The pavilion itself incorporated a utility vehicle, networking pods, VR simulation station, backlit signage, a café, green walls, rigged banners and meetings rooms – an outstanding custom exhibition stand!
IMDEX Asia 2023 was held at the Changi Exhibition Centre, Singapore at the beginning of May 2023. The TDA team exhibited again, this time with a more open-plan collaborative layout. The Australia pavilion was designed and project managed by Moreton Hire’s global team again. You will notice our signature coffee station in the centre of the stand was once again a stand out, serving over 2000 coffee’s over the three day exhibition.
The 31st and 32nd International Defence Industry Exhibition MSPO was held in Kielce, Poland in September 2023 and then 12 months later in September 2024. The Moreton Hire team delivered the Australia Pavilion for 40+ Australian companies to showcase their innovative products to the European and international market both years back to back in Poland. Our global team designed, built and show managed the Australian Pavilion and continued their partnership with Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade) and Team Defence Australia. Moreton Hire and TDA were thrilled to be awarded “Top Stand Design” for the MSPO Exhibition 2024, an outstanding achievement for out international delivery team.
The Farnborough International Airshow 2022 was held on 18- 22 July at Farnborough, United Kingdom. Our client, Team Defence Australia, facilitated the Australia Pavilion within FIA2022. Moreton Hire were engaged to execute stand design, construction, installation and dismantle. This included stand Management and administrative services pre and during show including management of site services, on stand catering, photography, networking events and print marketing. An incredible project management feat for our global exhibition team with a stand out sustainable feature LIVE green wall being the talking point of the stand, designed and installed by an Aussie team living in the UK. Moreton Hire then returned to London, UK in 2024 to deliver the Australia Pavilion once again but this time at UDT London 2024.
The Undersea Defence Technology Exhibition 2022 was held from June 7-9 in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Moreton Hire again executed stand design and event/project management for the Australia Pavilion including admin services. Our services ranged from stand design and custom fabrication to installation and dismantle including power, AV and signage. The team were also involved in the organisation of catering services, printing of official defence marketing material for on stand distribution, during show event management of all on stand requirements and networking functions.
Vietnam Defence 2022 was hosted by the Ministry of Defence of Vietnam with the aim of modernizing and upgrading its armed forces. The Expo presented a great opportunity for OEMs, system integrators, assemblers and service providers to introduce state-of-the-art equipment, weapons and technologies to the Vietnam market. The event was held in Hanoi, Vietnam on 8th-10th December 2022. Moreton Hire had the privilege of designing and delivering the Australian Pavilion, supporting and promoting the Australian Defence industry and 12 other companies showcasing their innovation and cutting technology on the stand.
