The Australian Cotton Conference is a significant event in the cotton industry that dates back to 1980. The biennial three-day event and exhibition was this year held at the Gold Coast Convention Centre (GCEC) from August 6th to 8th, 2024. With approximately 2,000 delegates and more than 200 trade exhibitors, the conference draws a diverse group of attendees, including cotton growers, researchers, industry suppliers, and other stakeholders from across Australia and internationally. The Australian Cotton Conference is crucial for the cotton industry as it facilitates knowledge sharing, networking, industry development, innovation showcasing, and professional development, shaping the future direction of farming in Australia.
This year Moreton Hire completed the exhibition bump in, in just two days, with over 50 members of our team on site. The exhibition build featured over 100 stands, including 8 custom-built stands, numerous stand upgrades, and all equipped with fascia signs and additional furniture packages. The fully outfitted Cotton Lounge and Olympic Lounge provided dedicated spaces for attendees to eat, drink, and connect while enjoying a continuous view of the 2024 Olympic Games. The conference showcased the scale and precision of our work, highlighting our attention to detail and effective project management and planning by our team.
