Moreton Hire’s iconic Emporium marquee is German engineered greatness and has been at the heart of some of Australia’s major events for the past few decades – Brisbane International Tennis, The Goodwill Games and V8’s. But in May 2021, it made a home in Rockhampton, Queensland once again for the world’s largest beef event – Beef Australia
Pavilion, Marquee, Tent – whatever you may refer to it as, it is quite the structure to behold! A speedy 5-day install for the main marquee, with the addition of two outdoor deck areas 10x20m each and a full internal fit-out. The fit-out included outdoor awnings, staircases, decking, gable custom signage, glass walls and doors, inside flooring, temporary walling, air-conditioning, lighting and furniture.
Most impressively was this years addition of the twin outdoor decked areas at the north and south of the structure. Built from heavy gage, high-load bearing subframe, these outdoor decks were both designed and constructed by Moreton Hire.
With a total size of 800 sqm floor space top and bottom, the 1st floor was designed as a 200 pax sit down restaurant hosted by Beef Australia Executive Chef Shane Bailey; and the 2nd floor built as the ultimate brand activation for Telstra – Network Hub!
