The Tourism Careers Expo, is a one-day event that was held on Tuesday, 18 June 2024, at the Melbourne Showgrounds. It is organised by the Victorian Tourism Industry Council (VTIC) to showcase dynamic and diverse career pathways in the tourism and events industry. Attendees connected one-on-one with over 50 potential employers and participated in knowledge sessions, including talks from industry insiders and the VTIC Student Entrepreneurial Award Finals Presentation.
VTIC, Victoria’s peak industry body for the visitor economy, supports over 1,000 businesses and a sector employing 257,500 Victorians, nearly half in regional areas. VTIC is committed to developing a professional, profitable, and sustainable visitor economy by improving the business environment and ensuring high-quality experiences for all visitors to Victoria.
Moreton Hire was proud to collaborate with VTIC for the Choose Tourism Careers Expo, providing exhibition infrastructure, including marquees, signage, shell scheme and furniture fit-outs. This year, we utilized our UniWall Exhibition system for a seamless finish with hanging fascia nameboards for exhibitors. The Victorian Pavilion featured 70 exhibitor stalls, 2 presentation zones, 3 private interview hubs, and catering and seating areas, creating a professional and engaging environment for exhibitors and attendees.

Moreton Hire was privileged to not only build but exhibit at the the inaugural Choose Tourism Careers Expo which proved to be an amazing success, with 50 exhibitors and over 750 attendees.
