A refreshed, re‑energised hub designed for connection, comfort, and conscious event design.
AIME – the Asia Pacific Incentives and Meetings Event, returned to the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre from 9–11 February 2026, continuing its legacy as the region’s premier marketplace for business events. Drawing together international exhibitors, buyers, and industry innovators, AIME remained a vibrant forum for collaboration, discovery, and commercial conversations.
In 2026, Moreton Hire once again brought its design expertise to the fore by sponsoring and delivering the exhibitions Charge Up Lounge, one of the event’s most frequented feature areas. With more than two decades of involvement at AIME, this year’s installation reaffirmed our ability to create purposeful spaces that balance functionality, design and attendee wellbeing.
The Charge Up Lounge was conceived as a welcoming retreat where attendees could pause, reconnect, and recharge. Built using Moreton Hire’s Uniwall system, the space combined modularity with thoughtful design. Custom fabric feature walls framed the lounge, providing visual impact while cleverly concealing the behind‑the‑scenes café operations to maintain a seamless front‑of‑house atmosphere.
The 2026 execution introduced an elevated look and feel, blending hospitality with tech‑enabled convenience. Visitors could settle in at our Charging Table Packages, and charge their devices whilst relaxing on the new premium, Italian manufactured furniture ranges – The Jazz and Lamorisse.
The result was a dynamic, people‑centred space that offered genuine respite amid the bustle of the show floor. Whether stopping in for a meeting, grabbing a moment to recharge, or taking advantage of the café service, attendees experienced the Charge Up Lounge as a thoughtfully designed destination. The Charge Up Lounge at AIME 2026 once again demonstrated Moreton Hire’s ability to craft environments that feel considered, welcoming, and aligned with the evolving needs of modern event attendees.
Experience is Everything.
