Semi-Permanent Infrastructure for Critical Airport Operations

Moreton Hire was engaged to deliver a durable, long-term shelter directly on the Brisbane Airport tarmac — providing protection for airside luggage handling and animals in transit. Designed to withstand harsh weather conditions and meet aviation safety standards, the structure was deployed with speed, precision, and engineered confidence.

The 8m x 25m Arcum structure was engineered to withstand wind speeds of up to 140km/h, secured with oversized cables and custom ballast. Its 3.2m eave height, integrated lighting, and 100kg rafter load capacity made it both functional and future-ready — adaptable for truss systems or additional fit-out if required. Delivered as part of a rapid activation response, the project highlights Moreton Hire’s ability to deliver semi-permanent infrastructure at speed, without compromising on safety, quality, or compliance.
