Independent Hardware Group National Expo 2020
The annual Independent Hardware Group (IHG) National Expo was held at the Gold Coast. This unique networking opportunity saw 600 members, 220 suppliers and over 2,000 attendees gather at the exhibition for the hardware, home improvement, building supplies and timber industry. This year’s theme ‘Working Together Through Tough Times’ saw the expo showcase on new ideas and value-add for independents to compete in an increasingly tough market.
Moreton Hire was proud to supply and install 207 3m x 3m SYMA Booths, 15 2m x 2m Midi Booths, 17 Organiser Feature Areas, Signage for 8 key areas and Furniture for the Exhibitor Booths, the Foyer, 2x Lounge areas & 2x Café areas, making it IHG’s biggest exhibition yet. Moreton Hire values their 11-year partnership with IHG looks forward to continuing to work with them in the future.

2020 saw the annual Independent Hardware Group’s EXPO return to the Gold Coast Convention and Entertainment Centre (after two years in Adelaide) and 2020 also marked the start of our second decade working with the incredibly professional team from Moreton Hire in delivering this event. Every year from concept development, through planning phase to the ultimate staging of our event, our partnership with the “absolutely awesome” Moreton’s team provides us with a seamless solution resulting in a great event delivery experience.
