At Rockhampton Hospital, Moreton Hire provided a fully customised semi-permanent medical facility designed to ensure space efficiency, maximise usable area, and respond to the hospital’s growing demand for a specialised clinic. The layout incorporated flexible spaces such as consult rooms, treatment bays, and reconfigured parking bays to support the hospital’s ongoing operations.
The structure delivered at Rockhampton Hospital spanned 315 sqm. It was fully fitted internal rooms, DDA-compliant access, custom joinery, medical-grade flooring, HVAC systems, and certified fire compliance. Sustainability was considered throughout the project, including the use of thermally insulated wall and roof panels. Natural light was strategically introduced into key areas such as treatment spaces, staff rooms, and waiting areas to enhance the patient experience. The result was a relocatable, code-compliant healthcare facility delivered on time and purpose-built to expand the hospital’s capacity.
