Australia’s national Beef Expo, which began in 1988, is one of the world’s premier beef cattle events, held once every three years in Rockhampton, Queensland, Australia. The expo features more than 5,000 cattle from over 30 breeds, a trade fair promoting more than 500 businesses, a symposium, seminars, and property tours to present new research information to producers. Additionally, visitors can enjoy restaurants, celebrity chefs, and cooking demonstrations to appreciate the quality and flavour of Australian beef.
Moreton Hire have been involved in Rockhampton Beef Week since its inception and in 2018 we were contracted as the official temporary structure supplier, providing infrastructure, furniture, electrical, and signage. The event attracted 100,000+ visitors from the 7th – 11th of May, 2018.
Experience Is Everything.
Moreton Hire provided four main exhibition pavilions for the week, including complete fit-outs of booths, furniture, electrical, and signage. Our iconic 12.5m x 30m Double Storey Emporium and marquees, including Uniflex Arcum and Multiflex Structures. Both corporate and operational fitouts were stationed across the Beef Week event area, featuring numerous brand activation areas, event spaces and exhibition halls and booths. These fit outs included furniture, electrical, temporary structures, exhibition booths (both syma and corinthian) flooring, fencing, and signage.
The Moreton Hire CAD & Design Team collaborated with Beef Australia and corporate brands like Westpac and Rabobank to ensure the design met brand guidelines. Due to our extensive resources, the Queensland operations team started bump-in on April 9th and completed bump-out on May 25th.
