Merri-bek City Council Temporary Structure

The Merri-bek City Council Kerbside Waste Reform Project, will transform kerbside collections and resource recovery rates for 180,000 residents, in Melbourne’s Inner North. The project is aligned with Victoria’s 10-year state-wide reform program: Recycling Victoria – A New Economy. The new 4-bin system will see 132,000 bins produced and a further 62,000 old bins taken away for recycling between December 2022 – August 2023.
When we sat down with our client (Merri-bek City Council), we discussed their storage requirements and project challenges, resulting in the best solution for their temporary site in Campbellfield. From a blank space in October, to a safe & secure assembly and distribution facility by December. Moreton Hire installed a 20x30m Uniflex Marquee and is continuing to provide solutions as the project evolves throughout 2023.
