The Subway® Australia and New Zealand Convention is a major networking event for the global sandwich leader, uniting Subway® franchisees, managers, Sandwich Artists™, and supplier partners — all in one place! The most recent event, SUBCON25, was held at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre in March 2025 over three jam-packed days. The theme for 2025 was The Future Feels Good, with a trade exhibition, technical sessions, leadership presentations, keynote speakers, supplier partner awards, panel discussions, and a gala awards dinner.
Moreton Hire was thrilled to once again be the primary trade show contractor, helping Subway® bring their convention to life! Working closely with the SUBCON25 Event Managers, Cre8it Events, Moreton Hire executed the exhibition build, including registration areas, breakout and feature zones, signage, flooring, furniture, lighting, AV, and power.
The event featured 62 exhibition booths alongside several specialised zones: a 30x4m ‘Subway Zone’ showcasing the Subway® Marketing and Operations teams and a real-life Fresh Forward 2.0 restaurant, plus an 18x6m Technology Zone with industry partners, a 6x6m IPCA Zone, and a 9x6m Merchandise Shop. Additional areas included a registration space in the foyer, a fully functioning test kitchen, and networking zones with bar tables and stools for attendees to relax. After the first night of bump-out, approximately 70% of the entire exhibition was dismantled—a seamless transition, reflecting Moreton Hire’s efficiency.
