Just like Moreton Hire, the Brisbane Truck Show has an incredibly rich, continuous history that dates back fifty-five years. When it comes to business events, nothing quite compares to Heavy Vehicle Industry Australia’s – Brisbane Truck Show. It takes years of prep, a week of exhibition bump-in, all for 4 days of open exhibition.
This biennial major event, is always held at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre and covers all 4 halls and 3 levels of the exhibition centre. Moreton Hire have been involved with HVIA and the Brisbane Truck Show for decades and in 2023, were once again the primary exhibition contractor ensuring that 250+ exhibitors have the most successful business event experience possible.
Truck Show 2023 was bigger and better than ever; it’s the Southern Hemisphere’s largest showcase of trucks, trailers, components, equipment and technology, and the stats prove it. The exhibition build consisted of 8000 carpet tiles, 3200sqm of printed signage and over 2700 leads, lights and power switchboards. To deliver an event of this magnitude, the Moreton Hire team prepared and planed for over 18months.

From a planning perspective the Brisbane Truck Show calls for 2 Account Directors, 1 Account Manager, 2 Account Coordinators, 5 Project Managers, 4 Supervisors and our unsung heroes the CAD design team.
Mack Trucks Australia notably celebrated 60 years of Australian manufacturing at this years Brisbane Truck Show 2023, and they impressively pulled off this brand activation! Moreton Hire were thrilled to build the home away from home for this life-sized Mack Anthem, built from LEGO bricks to be on display. Located in the centre of South Bank, Brisbane during the exhibition, almost 1 million bricks were used to build this beauty!
