The International Communication Association , aims to advance the scholarly study of human communication by encouraging and facilitating excellence in academic research worldwide. ‘Communication and Global Human Rights’ was the 74th Annual ICA Conference, held in June 2024 at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Moreton Hire were engaged by ICA to deliver event and exhibition equipment hire, including entrance features, registration desks, signage, crowd control, poster panels, plants, lighting and furniture hire. Overall the conference was a resounding success with 2700+ attendees and almost 1000 remote attendees. For 45% of the attendees, it was their first ICA conference, which is extremely unique in the history of ICA Conferences, and given that it was the first time ICA held its annual conference in Australia, the team were thrilled.
